  Your LG Washer might not be starting due to several reasons: the electrical power cord may not be properly plugged in, a house fuse might be blown, the circuit breaker could be tripped, or there may be a power outage. Also, the water supply tap might not be turned on, or the door might not be firmly shut. Ensure the plug fits tightly in the wall outlet, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse. Turn on the water supply tap. Close the door and press the Start/Pause button. After pressing the Start/Pause button, it may take a few moments before the washer begins to spin. The door must be locked before spin can be achieved. Add 1 or 2 similar items to help balance the load. Rearrange load to allow proper spinning.

  If your LG Washer is leaking water, it could be due to loose fill or drain hoses, clogged house drain pipes, inadequate water supply, a not fully opened water supply tap, kinked water inlet hoses, a clogged inlet hose filter, or a kinked or clogged drain hose, or a clogged drain filter. Check and tighten hose connections. Unclog the drain pipe, contacting a plumber if necessary. Too much or unsuitable detergent may cause excessive foaming which may result in water leaks. Check another tap in the house. Fully open the tap. Straighten the hose. Check the filter of the inlet hose. Clean and straighten the drain hose. Clean the drain filter.

  Once your LG machine has started, the door cannot be opened for safety reasons. Check if the "Door Lock" icon is illuminated. You can safely open the door after the "Door Lock" icon turns off.

  Too much softener may cause an overflow in your LG Washer. Follow softener guidelines to ensure the appropriate amount is used. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Close the dispenser drawer slowly. Do not open the drawer during the wash cycle.

How to fix rattling and clanking noise in LG WD14030FD6?

  If your LG Washer is making rattling and clanking noises, thumping sounds or vibrating noises, stop the washer and check the drum and drain filter. If the noise continues after restarting, call your authorised service centre. If the sound persists, the washer is probably out of balance. Stop it and redistribute the wash load. Refer to the Installation guide for removing transit bolts if they were not removed during installation. An unevenly distributed wash load in the drum can also cause these noises; stop the washer and rearrange the load.
