If a large item, such as a pillow or blanket, is above the top of the drum, stop the washing machine and redistribute the load so it is fully submerged in the water.

  If your LG appliance and smartphone are not connecting to Wi-Fi, ensure the Wi-Fi password is correct. Remove the Wi-Fi network from your smartphone and re-register on LG SmartThinQ. Turn off mobile data on your smartphone and use Wi-Fi for registration. The wireless network name (SSID) should use only English letters and numbers, without special characters. Ensure the router frequency is 2.4 GHz, as only this is supported. Move the router closer to the appliance if the signal is weak.
