Why does my LG WV9-1412W smell musty?

  A musty or mildewy odor in your LG Washer may be due to the inside of drum is not cleaned properly, so run the Tub Clean function regularly. The drain hose is not properly installed, causing siphoning (water flowing back inside of the appliance), when installing the drain hose, make sure that it does not get kinked or blocked. The detergent dispenser is not cleaned regularly, remove and clean the detergent dispenser, especially the top and the bottom of the dispenser’s opening.

Why is the cycle time so long on my LG Washer?

  If the cycle time on your LG Washer is longer than usual, it could be due to a load is too small, so add more items to allow the appliance to balance the loads. Also, if heavy articles are mixed with lighter items, always try to wash articles with similar weight in order to allow the appliance to evenly distribute the weight of the load for spinning. Finally, the load is out of balance, manually redistribute the load if articles have become tangled.

  If your clothes are wrinkling after washing in your LG Washer, ensure you remove items from the appliance as soon as the programme is complete. Avoid overloading the appliance; while it can be fully loaded, the drum should not be tightly packed. Check the supply hose connections, as reversed hot and cold water supply hoses can cause wrinkles. Finally, adjust the spin speed to suit the garment type.

  If your LG washer displays a UE UNBALANCE ERROR, it could be due to a couple of reasons. The clothes may be too wet at the end of the cycle. Try rearranging the load to allow proper spinning, then close the door and press the Start/Pause button. It may take a moment for the appliance to begin spinning, as the door must be locked first. Alternatively, the load might be too small. In this case, add one or two similar items or smaller articles of clothing to help balance the load, then close the door and press Start/Pause. Again, allow a few moments for the spin cycle to initiate once the door is locked.

Ensure all levelling feet are resting firmly and evenly on the floor; refer to the Levelling the Appliance instructions for adjustment. Also, check if the floor is solid and doesn't flex; see the Installation Place Requirements to select the proper location.

  If your LG washer is showing a 1E INLET ERROR, it indicates a water supply issue. First, check another tap in the house to ensure the water supply is adequate. Then, make sure the water supply tap for the washer is fully open. Also, inspect the water supply hoses for any kinks and straighten them or reinstall the water inlet hose if needed. Finally, the filter of the supply hoses may be clogged. Turn off the taps, remove the hose connections to the washing machine, and check and clean the inlet valve filter.
