  If your Life Fitness Row HX Trainer's water changes color or becomes cloudy, it could be due to direct sunlight exposure or lack of water treatment. To resolve this, move the rower to a location with less direct sunlight. Also, add one Water Treatment Tablet or change the tank water as instructed in the water treatment section of the manual. Consider using distilled water when refilling the tank.

Tighten it in small increments using the bungee tie-off tab point. Test the tension by allowing the rowing handle to return to its furthest point forward, ensuring it still has some slight tension. Note that light fraying of the bungee cord is normal.

  A cracked water tank on your Life Fitness Fitness Equipment can be caused by overtightening the tank hardware, degradation of the tank material from using chemical cleaners, or the rower being in direct sunlight. Ensure you do not overtighten the tank bolts, keeping them torqued to 9.5 in-lb (11 kg-cm). Only wipe the tank with water and a clean cloth, avoiding chemical cleaners. Move the rower to reduce direct sunlight exposure, as it can adversely affect the tank's durability. Replace the water tank if it is leaking.
