What to do if Lincoln Electric 180 Welding System has no wire feed but gas flows?

  If your Lincoln Electric Welding System isn't feeding wire, but the fan is running, gas is flowing, and the machine shows the correct open-circuit voltage, there are a few things to check: * If the wire drive motor is running, ensure the correct drive rolls are installed. * Inspect for any clogs in the cable liner or contact tip. * Verify that the cable liner and contact tip are the correct size. * Confirm that the Magnum 100SG/Magnum 100L switch is properly set to activate the correct gun.

  If your Lincoln Electric Welding System isn't feeding wire, has no weld output or gas flow when the gun trigger is pulled, and the fan isn't running, check the following: 1. Ensure the correct voltage is being supplied to the machine. 2. Confirm that the power switch is in the ON position. 3. Check and reset the circuit breaker.
