If your Lincoln Water Pump continues to run even when the outlet is closed, it could be due to several reasons. The material container might be empty, leading to continuous acceleration of pump cycles. Alternatively, the material supply line could be broken or leaking. Another potential cause is damaged inlet check valves in the pump tube inlet. To resolve this, first, shut off the pump and refill or change the material container. If that doesn't work, shut off the pump and check and tighten the material line. Lastly, shut off the pump, perform the pressure relief procedure, and inspect the check valve, replacing it if damaged.
