Installing the lamppost

s illustrated in Figure 3, plug the two prongs on the bottom of the lamppost into the socket
on the platform. Be sure that the prongs line up with the holes. The lamppost may be
installed in either direction.
Adjusting and operating the 153C Contactor
A
djust the 153C Contactor before you operate different locomotives and rolling stock with
the accessory. Keep in mind that the Contactor is sensitive to the weight of the train.
1. Power up the accessory.
2. Position your train about two feet before the Contactor.
3. Turn the adjustment nut on the Contactor up or down until the accessory is triggered. Refer
to Figure 1 on page 3 for the location of the adjustment nut.
When properly adjusted, a light pressure on the track will cause the figure to emerge from
the building. The lights remain on whenever the accessory is powered up.
