Extending and Retracting the Ladder
1. Disengage both lock buttons on the rung (Fig. 5) that is going to be moved.
2. Fully extend or retract the rung (Fig. 6).
3. Engage the lock buttons (Fig. 7).
NOTE: Lock buttons cannot be engaged if the rung is not fully extended or retracted.
Make sure all lock buttons are in the "Lock" position prior to ascent or descent. Unlocked buttons
may cause instability and could lead to a fall.
Moving parts can pinch, cut, and crush. Keep hands o of moving parts at all times and exercise
caution when extending or retracting the ladder.
