Maintenance Features:
- Water Tank: Must be emptied after every drying cycle. The tank is located at the top front of the dryer and is pulled out using a handle.
- Lint Filter: Needs cleaning before and after every load. The filter is located inside the door and can be wiped clean or washed with lukewarm water and thoroughly dried. Operating the dryer without the lint filter is prohibited.
- Condenser: Should be cleaned every 30 drying cycles or once a month. This involves turning off the dryer, unplugging it, allowing it to cool, opening the condenser flap, releasing blue clips, gently pulling out the condenser, removing dust/fluff (can be rinsed under a tap), drying, and reinserting.
- Humidity Sensor: Located inside the drum (two metal strips behind the lint filter), it needs cleaning at least 4 times a year. Clean with a damp cloth, removing any lint or fluff, and avoid using cleaning products.
- Drum: Any rust from metal articles should be removed immediately with chlorine-free detergent; steel wool should not be used.
- Exterior: Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid splashing water, cream cleansers, thinners, or products containing alcohol or kerosene.
- Door Seal and Window: Wipe after each use to remove lint and stains. Remove any coins, buttons, or other objects from the door seal.
- Professional Servicing: In case of damage, malfunction, or missing/broken parts, contact a qualified service agent. Users are warned against dismantling, repairing, or modifying the dryer themselves due to the risk of electric shock or fire.
