2.10 Temperature Cycle testing
Reason for test stage:
To subject LogTag products to temperature cycle stress.
Equipment required:
• Chest Freezer capable of achieving temperatures of -16ºC or lower, but not lower than -25ºC.
• Rack or similar to hold LogTags in place with air space between each LogTag to allow flow of air for
cooling & warming.
Setup:
• Allow Freezer to reach stable temperature for 6 hours after switch on.
Procedure
Place LogTags into freezer for minimum of 8 hours, before 12pm - 8pm
Take LogTags out of freezer & into room temp for 12 hours, 8pm - 8am
Place LogTags into freezer for 12 hours, 8am - 8pm
Take LogTags out of freezer & into room temp for 12 hours, 8pm - 8am
Start all Loggers to be placed into Freezer.
