Repeat Delay
W
hen using a repeater, it may be necessary to add a delay between pages when paging multiple pagers to
allow the repeater time to repeat the signal and detect the next one. To add repeat delay:
1. Press SETUP.
2. Press F1 (MORE) until asked for an authorization code.
3. Enter 5-6-7-8-9.
4. Press F1 (MORE) until the display shows 1: Repeat Delay.
5. Press 1 (1: Repeat Delay).
6. Select F1 (ON) to enable or OFF (F2) to disable.
7. Select F4 (DONE) when finished.
ID Span
In very large systems up to 9999 Guest pagers can be paged. To do this, ID Span is required. This function
disables normal System ID functions except for Staff Paging. The main screen during Guest Paging will dis-
play 4 hyphens (instead of 3) to accommodate pager numbers with four digits.
To use ID Span:
1. Press SETUP
2. Press F1 (MORE) until asked for an authorization code
3. Enter 5-6-7-8-9
4. Press F1 (MORE) until the display shows 1: ID Span
5. Press 1 (1: ID Span)
6. Select F1 (ON) to enable or F2 (OFF) to disable
7. Select F4 (EXIT) when finished
Dry Contact
The Dry Contact is a contact or switch that is connected through a wire to the T7400, for example: Doorbell.
This sensor can send a message to the pager when an event occurs (e.g., alarms if a door is opened). De-
fault setting for the Contact Sensor is OFF. To program the Contact Sensor (Dry Contact):
1. Press SETUP.
2. Press F1 (MORE) until asked for an authorization code.
3. Type 5-6-7-8-9.
4. Press F1 (MORE) until the display shows 1: Dry Contac.t
5. Select 1 (1: Dry Contact).
