Why is suction decreased on my Lovi Breast Pump?

  Decreased suction in your Lovi Breast Pump can occur due to several reasons. First, detach the tubing and tubing adapter, and place a finger over the pump inlet. If you feel suction, the pump base is working. If not, unplug the AC adapter. Also, ensure the expression collection combo kit is correctly assembled, the one-way valve has no tears or pinholes, the diaphragm is properly set with no gap between the cup and diaphragm, the o-ring is correctly placed on the cup and assembled with the breastshield body, and the silicone cushion clings tightly to the breast.

  If your Lovi Breast Pump experiences an interruption, unplug the AC adapter cord from the electrical outlet and wait five seconds. Then, plug it back in. If the problem continues, try using a different electrical outlet.

  To prevent breast milk buildup in the breast shield body of your Lovi Breast Pump: If milk isn’t draining fast enough into the collection bottle, reduce the suction setting to allow the milk to drain before gradually increasing it. Also, ensure the breast pump and bottle are kept in an upright position.

  If your Lovi Breast Pump is experiencing radio frequency energy interference, try the following: reorient or relocate the receiving device, increase the separation between the equipment, or connect the equipment into an outlet on a different circuit from that to which the other device(s) are connected. Note that there is no guarantee that interference will not occur.
