Why are the cylinders on my LS tractor moving slowly and erratically?

If you're experiencing slow or erratic cylinder movement, or noisy cylinder operation on your LS tractor, start by checking and replenishing the hydraulic fluid, as a low level can cause these issues. Also, cold hydraulic fluid can cause these problems, so allow the hydraulic system to warm up to operating temperature. Make sure the engine RPM is sufficient to ensure adequate hydraulic pump speed. Reduce the material load if it exceeds the backhoe's maximum specified capacity. Inspect the control valve linkage for any binding or defects and repair if necessary. Check the coupler connections and repair or replace if there is a restriction. Inspect hoses and tubelines for restrictions. Check cylinders for leakage and repair as needed.
