These include low hydraulic fluid level, improperly connected hydraulic hoses, blocked hydraulic hoses to/from the control valve, a stuck backhoe control valve or tractor main relief valve, or low system pressure from the hydraulic pump. Other potential causes are a broken control valve linkage, disconnected quick couplers, blockages in the hydraulic hose or tubeline, a defective cylinder piston assembly, or a blocked control valve.
