troubleshooting tips
Try to solve the following problems yourself. If the problem is not
resolved, contact the authorized service center.
Refrigerator
won't work.
Problem Cause/possible solution
• Check whether the appliance is connected to
power supply or the power plug rmly in-
serted into the outlet.
• Voltage is too low.
• Power failure or circuit has tripped.
• Foods should be tightly wrapped.
• Rotten food.
• Clean the interior of the refrigerator.
Odor formation.
Compressor runs
for long periods
of time.
• Long operation of the compressor is normal
during summer when the ambient tempera-
ture is high.
• Do not load large quantities of food at once
into the refrigerator.
• Let food cool down to room temperature be-
fore loading it into the appliance.
• Doors are opened too frequently.
Light does not
turn on.
• Make sure the refrigerator is connected to the
power supply and check the light.
• Contact the authorized service center to have
the light replaced.
Doors cannot be
properly closed.
• The door is stuck by food packages.
• The refrigerator is not leveled.
Noise caused by
vibration.
• Make sure the oor is level and the refrigera-
tor is placed stably.
• Make sure accessories are placed at proper lo-
cations.
Door gaskets are
not tight.
• Remove foreign matter from door gaskets.
• Heat the door gasket to return it to its origi-
nal shape and then let it cool down. You can
use an electrical drier or a hot towel to heat
the gasket.
