These include high indoor or outdoor temperatures, recent power outages, frequent or prolonged door openings, improperly closed doors, low temperature settings, or a dirty, worn, cracked, or mismatched door gasket. It's normal for the refrigerator to run longer under these conditions. Allow 8 to 12 hours for the refrigerator to cool down completely after being powered on. Avoid opening the door too often and ensure the refrigerator is level and that no food or containers are obstructing the door. Adjust the temperature setting higher and wait 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. Clean or replace the door gasket if necessary, as a leakage gap can cause longer running times.
