Vehicle electrical system
Main battery switch
The main battery switch is on the left side of the vehicle on the
ladder between the steps. It breaks the electrical connection
to the vehicle battery.
CAUTION!
Material damage!
Turning off the main battery switch can damage the
generator, the electrical equipment and the controllers.
X Do not turn off the main battery switch while the
engine is running.

Turn the main battery switch horizontally.
3 The electrical connection is made.
X Turn the main battery switch vertically.
3 The electrical connection is separated.
Switch the main battery switch to “OFF” when you park
the MT for a longer duration. This prevents the vehicle
battery from possibly discharging.
