WARNING!
Accident hazard!
If you leave the MT while the engine is running, the MT
can start rolling unintentionally and seriously injure
persons.
X Always be sure to shift the transmission into
neutral N
before exiting the MT and apply the
parking brake.
X Make sure the engine is running at low idle speed.
X Secure the wheels additionally with blocks.
Oil level check with oil dip stick (HOT CHECK)
The dip stick is located on the right side of the transmission.

Make sure that the operating temperature between 70 °C
and 90 °C has been reached.
The operating temperature can be read from the engine
coolant temperature indicator in the combination display
instrument.
The operating temperature is reached when the MT has
been driven under load and the engine coolant temperature
indicator on the combination display instrument has
stabilised at the normal operational temperature.
X Park the MT on level ground for the oil level check.
X Shift the transmission into neutral N and apply the parking
brake.
X Let the engine run at idle speed.
X Open the small lid 1 of the transmission oil dip stick.
X Pull the dip stick 2 out.
X Wipe the dip stick with a clean, lint-free cloth.
X Reinsert the dip stick completely.
X Pull the dip stick out again.
