B Hot Air
By operating the temperature control knob, temperature of air being discharged
from various vents can be adjusted to the desired level. Engine coolant is utilized to
heat, whereas the air conditioner is used to cool the air inside the AC unit. Based
upon selected position of the temperature control dial, the desired discharged air
temperature can be obtained.
By rotating the dial counter-clockwise and setting it to the extreme left position, cool
air is discharged. When the dial is rotated clockwise, the discharged air
progressively starts getting warmer. By rotating the dial further in the clockwise
direction and setting it to the extreme right position, hot air is discharged.
‘—’ represents cooling and ‘+’ represents heating.
10.10 Air Intake Mode Control
By operating the air intake control switch, either fresh air mode or recirculated air
