MAINTENANCE
BELTREPLACEMENT:
1) Turnsnowblowerfacedown.
2) Remove the half driveline (See snowblower
assemblysection).
3) Remove the driveline guard (item 1) by removing
thefour5/16’’x3/4’’hexbolts(item2).
4) Loosenthefive5/16’’x41/2’’bolts(item3),thefive
5/16’’ nuts (item 4) and the five sleeves (item 5)
(see location of the parts in the parts
breakdownforsnowblower).
5) Removerearsupportplate(item6).
6) Removeinputshaft(item7).
7) Changethebelt(item8).
8) Reinstall the parts by reversing the steps.
Tightenalltheboltsfirmly.
SNOWBLOWERPULLEYREPLACEMENT
1) Repeat steps 1 to 6 in the Belt Replacement
section.
2) Untightenthe set screws(item 9)on thebearings.
Only lower bearing must have set screw, the top
bearingmustnothavesetscrew
3) Remove the bearings (item 10 or 11) from the
requiredpulleys.
4) Remove damaged pulley (item 12 or 13) and
reinstallnewone.
5) Reinstallthepartsbyreversingthesteps
NOTE:Tightenthesetscrewsat94lbfin.andtighten
firmlyallthebolts.
WARNING
TOPREVENTINJURIES:
Parkthevehicleonaflatsurfaceoutside in a well
ventilatedarea.
DisengagetheP.T.O.
Lowertheattachmenttotheground.
Applyparkingbrake.
Stopthemotorandremovetheignitionkey.
Wait until all moving parts have stopped before
leavingthedriver’sseat.
DANGER
CONTACT WITH ROTATING DRIVELINE CAN
CAUSESEVEREINJURYORDEATH.
Operate only when all driveline, tractor and
equipmentguardsareinplace.
Besuredrivelinesecurelyattachedandlockedat
bothendsbeforeoperating.
