MAINTENANCE
BELTREPLACEMENT:
1) Turnsnowblowerfacedown.
2) Remove the half driveline (See snowblower
assemblysection).
3) Remove the driveline guard (item 1) by removing
thefour5/16’’x3/4’’hexbolts(item2).
4) Loosenthefive5/16’’x41/2’’bolts(item3),thefive
5/16’’ nuts (item 4) and the five sleeves (item 5)
(see location of the parts in the parts
breakdownforsnowblower).
5) Removerearsupportplate(item6).
6) Removeinputshaft(item7).
7) Changethebelt(item8).
8) Reinstall the parts by reversing the steps.
Tightenalltheboltsfirmly.
SNOWBLOWERPULLEYREPLACEMENT
1) Repeat steps 1 to 6 in the Belt Replacement
section.
2) Untightenthe set screws(item 9)on thebearings.
Only lower bearing must have set screw, the top
bearingmustnothavesetscrew
3) Remove the bearings (item 10 or 11) from the
requiredpulleys.
4) Remove damaged pulley (item 12 or 13) and
reinstallnewone.
5) Reinstallthepartsbyreversingthesteps
NOTE:Tightenthesetscrewsat94lbfin.andtighten
firmlyallthebolts.
WARNING
TOPREVENTINJURIES:
Parkthevehicleonaflatsurfaceoutside in a well
ventilatedarea.
DisengagetheP.T.O.
Lowertheattachmenttotheground.
Applyparkingbrake.
Stopthemotorandremovetheignitionkey.
Wait until all moving parts have stopped before
leavingthedriver’sseat.
DANGER
CONTACT WITH ROTATING DRIVELINE CAN
CAUSESEVEREINJURYORDEATH.
Operate only when all driveline, tractor and
equipmentguardsareinplace.
Besuredrivelinesecurelyattachedandlockedat
bothendsbeforeoperating.
