the resulting risks thereof.
Children must not play with
the unit. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be
carried out by children without
supervision.
● Only operate the ventilation
unit:
● with the voltage and frequen-
cy stated on the rating plate.
● with all duct connections
fitted (sound absorbers
significantly reduce the noise
emissions).
● if the safety switch-off is
functioning correctly.

● single door contact switch
(standard unit): The fans
switch off when the front
cover is opened.
● double door contact switch
(comfort and bypass unit):
The fans and frost protection
heating register switch off
when the front cover is
opened. The bypass unit's
bypass shutter closes.
● Switch the ventilation unit off
immediately if you discover
damage or faults that could
endanger persons or
property. Make sure the unit
cannot be switched back on
until it has been fully repaired.
● Modifications and alterations
to the ventilation unit are not
permitted and release the ma-
nufacturer from any guaran-
tee obligations and liability.
3.2 Air filter
● Never operate the ventilation
unit without an air filter.
● Check the air filter regularly
for dirt and damage

● Operation is only permitted if
the air filters are changed/re-
placed on a regular basis.
● Standard unit: A G4 filter in
both the outside air channel
and the exhaust air channel
protects the ventilation unit
from dirt.
● Comfort and bypass units: In
place of the G4 filter, the
outside air channel has an
F7 filter for greater protection.
