Why does my Majestic Indoor Fireplace pilot light keep going out?
    • R
      reginarussellAug 9, 2025
Frequent pilot outages in your Majestic Indoor Fireplace can be caused by: * **Pilot flame issues:** The pilot flame might be too low or too high, causing the pilot safety to shut off the gas supply. In this case, you should clean and adjust the pilot flame for maximum flame impingement on the thermopile and thermocouple. * **Vent terminal blockage:** Check the vent terminal for any obstructions that might be recycling the flue gases.

What to do if the pilot will not stay lit on my Majestic Indoor Fireplace?
    • V
      Victoria ClarkAug 16, 2025
If the pilot light won't stay lit on your Majestic Indoor Fireplace after following the lighting instructions, consider these potential causes: * **Defective pilot generator (thermocouple) or remote wall switch:** Check the pilot flame to ensure it properly impinges on the thermocouple/thermopile. Clean and/or adjust the pilot for maximum flame impingement on the thermopile and thermocouple. * **Defective automatic valve:** Turn the valve knob to the “Pilot” position. While maintaining gas flow to the pilot, a millivolt meter should read greater than 10 mV. If the reading is okay but the pilot still doesn't stay lit, the gas valve needs to be replaced. Note: An interrupter block (not supplied) must be used to conduct this test.

How to fix a spark ignitor that will not light on a Majestic 33LDVR?
    • M
      Miguel AlvarezAug 25, 2025
If the spark ignitor on your Majestic Indoor Fireplace isn't lighting, here's what to check: * **Defective or misaligned electrode:** First, try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and try the ignitor button again. If the pilot still won't light, check the gap at the electrode and pilot. It should be 1/8” to ensure a strong spark. * **Defective ignitor (push button):** Push the Piezo Ignitor Button and check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, replace the ignitor.

What to do if the pilot is burning, but no gas to the main burner in my Majestic Indoor Fireplace?
    • C
      cmckeeNov 1, 2025
If the pilot light is on but the main burner isn't receiving gas, there are several potential causes: * **Wall switch or wiring issues:** Inspect the wall switch and wiring for secure connections. You can test the switch by using a jumper wire across the terminals. If the burner ignites, the wall switch is faulty and needs replacement. If the switch is fine, try using a jumper wire across the wall switch wires at the valve. If the burner then comes on, the wires are faulty or the connections are bad. * **Insufficient millivoltage from the thermopile:** Ensure that the wire connections from the thermopile to the gas valve terminals are secure and that the thermopile is fully inserted into the pilot bracket. Check for a ground in one of the wall switch wires. If the pilot stays lit afte...
