Why won't my Makita BCM3300 engine start or starts with difficulty?

If your Makita Brush Cutter engine won't start, it could stem from several issues. Check the STOP switch to ensure it's not depressed. Inspect for wiring faults, short circuits, or a defective spark plug or connector. The ignition module could also be faulty. Other potential causes include an incorrect choke position, a defective carburetor, a dirty suction head, or a bent/interrupted fuel supply line. Additionally, inspect the cylinder bottom gasket, crankshaft seals, cylinder, and piston rings for wear. Poor spark plug sealing, a broken starter spring, or broken internal engine parts can also prevent starting.
