3. Function Description
The PreLine filter system is designed for use
with all diesel engines with a maximum fuel
line pressure of 4 bar. It is normally installed
in the area of the low pressure circuit
between the fuel tank and fuel transfer pump.
At this point, its multi-layer construction filters
out water and fine particles from the diesel
fuel flowing through.
The separated water is collected in the tank
under the filter and is drained off via the drain
plug.

Functions
The hand pump enables the filter to be
refilled with fuel, e.g. after maintenance
work.
Heater (option): The fuel flowing
through is warmed up by a heater to
prevent the formation of paraffin
crystals.
The unused outlet connection must be
closed.
