Turning off the sound temporarily

To cancel mute, either adjust the volume or press : again.
Adjusting the tone and balance

Turn the BASS, TREBLE and BALANCE on the main
unit to adjust the tone and balance.

BASS, TREBLE and BALANCE cannot be adjusted when this unit is in source
direct mode. Press SOURCE DIRECT on the remote control to turn off source
direct mode.
Playback in source direct mode
The signal does not pass through the tone adjustment circuitry (BASS,
TREBLE and BALANCE), resulting in playback of a higher sound quality.

Press SOURCE DIRECT to turn on source direct mode.
“SOURCE DIRECT” is displayed on the display.
Playing CDs
This section uses playback from a CD as an example.

Press AMP X to turn the power on.

Use INPUT ml to switch the input source to “CD”.
“CD” is displayed on the display.

Playback the CD.

Use VOLUME no to adjust the volume.
