  If operations cannot be performed through the remote control unit of your Marantz CD Player, try the following: * Replace the batteries with new ones. * Ensure you are within 23 ft/7 m of the unit and within a 30° angle. * Remove any obstacles between the unit and the remote. * Insert the batteries in the correct direction, checking the q and w marks. * Move the unit if the remote control sensor is exposed to strong light. * Adjust the direction and distance of any 3D video devices to prevent interference. * Press the REMOTE MODE CD button. * Set the switch to “INTERNAL” if using the unit independently.

  If your Marantz CD Player displays “No Device”, “Check FS” or “Check Device”, ensure the USB memory device is properly connected by disconnecting and reconnecting it. USB memory devices of a mass storage class are supported. Connect the USB memory device directly to the USB port, without using a USB hub. The USB memory device must be formatted to FAT16 or FAT32. If you are using a portable hard disc drive that requires power from an AC adapter, use the adapter that came with the drive. Note that not all USB memory devices are guaranteed to work.
