Press
to
switch
the
receiving
mode

the
auto
stereo
-
mode
and
mono
mode.
When
the
button
is
pressed
into
the

position,
the
receiving
mode
becomes
the
mono
mode.
When
the
button
is
pressed
again,
the
receiving
mode
becomes
the
auto
stereo
mode.
When
the
MONO
indicator
is
lit
up:
The
mode
is
mono,
in
which
even
stereo
broadcasts
are
received
in
mono.
Use
this
mode
in
the
case
of
considerable
noise
interference
or
a
weak
station
signal.
The
MONO
button
only
works
in
the
case
of
FM
reception.
When
the
MONO
indicator
is
not
lit
up:
The
mode
is
auto
stereo,
in
which
FM
broadcasts
are
received
in
stereo.
The
mode
switches
automatically
to
mono
if
the
received
broadcast
is
mono.
MUTING

Press
to
mute
any
noise
received
between
FM
stations.

OPERATION
PRESET
TUNING
Press
the
preset
button
under
which
the
desired
frequency
has
been
preset.
For
the
operation
of
the
preset
memory,
refer
to
“PRESET
MEMORY”.
When
a
preset
button
under
which
no
station
has
been
stored
is
pressed,
the
display
will
show
“FREE”
for
about
1
second.
AUTO
TUNING
This
method
can
be
used
in
areas
where
the
signal
strengths
of
the
broadcast
stations
are
normal.
1.
Press
the
AUTO/MAN
button
so
that
the
AUTO
TUNING
indicator
lights
up.
2.
Press
the
BAND
button
to
select
the
desired
band
(FM/MW/LW).
3.
Press
the
UP
or
DOWN
side
of
the
TUNING
button.
The
receiving
frequency
will
start
to
change
automatically,
and
this
tuning
operation
will
stop
when
a
station
is
received.
Carry
on
pressing
the
button
until
a
desired
station
is
received,
MANUAL
TUNING
1.
Press
the
AUTO/MAN
button
so
that
the
AUTO
TUNING
indicator
does
not
light
up.
2.
Press
the
BAND
button
to
select
the
desired
band
(FM/MW/LW).
3.
Press
the
UP
or
DOWN
side

the
TUNING
button.
Each
press
changes
the
receiving
frequency
by
1
step
(FM

25
kHz,
MW
=
9
kHz,
LW
=
1
kHz).
When
the
button
is
pressed
for
more
than
0.5
second,
the
frequency
will
continue
changing
for
as
long
as
the
button
is
depressed.
