Particular attention should be paid to protect the guides of product arrester against moisture
and dust. To remove them wipe the product arrester with a soft dry cloth at room temperature.
Measures should be taken to prevent damage to the product serial number.
3.2 Safety measures
Observe the following safety precautions:
• do not store the product in places accessible for unauthorized persons;
• do not touch the electrodes during operation of the product;
• confirm that the electroshock device AIR-107 «SCORPION-A» (350) is fixed in the
clamps and there is a reliable electrical contact;
• do not switch on the product in potentially explosive atmosphere - at gas stations, etc.
3.3 Order of maintenance
The product does not require special maintenance, except for the actions mentioned above.
3.4 Product functional test
3.4.1 For «Type 01» product, insert and fasten the electroshock device AIR-107
«SCORPION-A» (350) into the product’s catcher. Unlock the electroshock device AIR-107
«SCORPION-A» (350) and press the “start” button. A steady spark discharge should occur
between the electrodes on the outside of the product body (on the glass). The sound of the
frequency discharge should be smooth (monotone) without audible frequency gaps.
When you release the Start button, the discharge should stop.
After checking the operability, the product must be put on the safety lock.
3.4.2 For «Type 01» product, unlock own built-in electroshock device press the «start»
