Introduction
The current operation manual (OM) is a document containing information about the purpose,
the basic parameters and technical characteristics, structure and principle of operation of
the shockproof shield with the function of non-lethal stun effect «Scala» (hereinafter - the
«product»), the instructions necessary for its safe and correct operation (description and
operation, intended use, maintenance, storage and transportation).
The requirements and recommendations set out in the operating manual are mandatory
to ensure the safety of operational reliability, full use of technical capabilities and maximum
service life of the product.
Before using the product, it is necessary to carefully read this operating manual.
1 Description and operation of the product
1.1 Purpose of the product
The product has two versions. Compliance of the versions with the positions in the design
documentation is shown in Table 1.
