Why is there sand in my MARIMEX ProStar 6 pool?
    • E
      elizabethlaraAug 14, 2025
If the sand fill is new, the grains in it might be smaller than the set size. In this case, repeat the back washing operation several times until the backwashing water is clean. Sand in the six-way valve (residues from backwashing) can also cause this issue. To resolve this, set the position to “Backwashing” and pump water to drain for approximately 30 seconds. Alternatively, the partition dividing the chamber for cleaned water might not be correctly installed, so check the installation. Finally, the bottom screen could be damaged, requiring you to change it.

What to do if the MARIMEX ProStar 6 Lighting Equipment pump motor does not run?
    • Z
      zimmermanraymondAug 18, 2025
First, ensure the plug is properly inserted into the socket. If that's not the issue, check if the earth-leakage circuit breaker has tripped and switch it. If it immediately trips again, the pump motor is likely defective and needs to be changed.
