Overview

The MARXON G300 is a portable power station designed to provide reliable power for various devices and situations. This user manual outlines its functions, usage, and maintenance to ensure safe and optimal operation.

Function Description

The MARXON G300 serves as a versatile power source, capable of charging and powering a wide range of electronic devices and small appliances. It features multiple output ports, including AC, USB-A, USB-A Fast Charge, USB-C, and 12V DC, making it compatible with diverse charging needs. The device is equipped with a built-in battery and an intelligent fast-charging system, allowing for quick replenishment of its internal power. It also supports various input methods, such as AC charging, solar charging, and car charging, offering flexibility for different environments and scenarios. The integrated LCD screen provides real-time information about the power station's status, including battery level, input/output power, and remaining charge/discharge time. Safety is a key aspect of the G300, incorporating multiple protection mechanisms like over-voltage, overload, over-temperature, short circuit, low temperature, low voltage, overcurrent, overcharge, and over-discharge protection to safeguard both the device and connected electronics.

Usage Features

To begin using the MARXON G300, ensure the main power button is pressed and held for 2 seconds to turn the unit on or off. Once powered on, a short press of the main power button will toggle the LCD screen display. The LCD screen is crucial for monitoring the device's performance, showing the battery power level, remaining battery percentage, AC output status, output frequency, DC output status, USB indicator, emergency lighting status, and various warnings such as low temperature, high temperature, battery failure, and general errors. It also displays input and output power in watts, and the estimated remaining charge or discharge time in hours and minutes.

For AC output, a short press of the AC Output Power Button activates the AC ports. The screen will display the AC output indicator and the current output power. To conserve power, it is recommended to turn off the AC output when not in use. The G300 provides pure sine wave AC output, suitable for sensitive electronics.

USB output ports are automatically enabled once the product is turned on. The device includes two 12W USB-A ports, one 60W USB-A fast charging port, and one 100W USB-C charging port, supporting most fast-charging protocols. The current USB output power will be displayed on the screen if it exceeds 30W.

For 12V DC output, a short press of the DC Output Button will turn the DC output on or off. A DC output indicator will appear on the screen when enabled. Users should be mindful of the rated current of their devices to avoid triggering overcurrent protection, which would stop the DC output.

Charging the G300 is straightforward with multiple options. For AC charging, use the official Marxon AC cable and plug it into a wall outlet that supports a current over 10A. The intelligent fast-charging technology allows for a maximum AC input power of 150W, fully charging the product in under 2.5 hours. The LCD screen will show a scrolling power indicator, increasing battery percentage, and input power during charging.

Solar charging is supported via a built-in 120W MPPT controller. Users can connect multiple solar panels in parallel, ensuring they have the same voltage (11-25V) and a total power not exceeding 120W. The maximum voltage of single or parallel solar panels should not exceed 25V to prevent damage. The solar input indicator will be displayed on the screen during solar charging.

Car charging is also an option, utilizing the cigarette lighter interface in a vehicle. It is important to ignite the vehicle before using the car charger to prevent draining the car battery. Users should ensure good contact with the 12V Anderson Input Port, car charging cable, and cigarette lighter. The car input indicator will be visible on the LCD screen.

The device also features emergency lighting, which can be activated via the lighting button.

Maintenance Features

Proper maintenance and storage are essential for extending the lifespan and ensuring the safe operation of the MARXON G300. The product should be used and stored in an environment with temperatures between 68°F to 86°F (20°C to 30°C), away from water, heat sources, and other metal objects.

After using the product, if the remaining battery is less than 1%, it is crucial to recharge it to 60% before storing. Leaving the product idle for an extended period with a severely low battery can cause irreversible damage to the battery cells and shorten the product's service life. For long-term storage, it is recommended to discharge the battery to 30% and recharge it to 60% every three months.

If the product has been idle for too long and the battery level is severely low, it may enter a deep sleep protection mode. In such cases, the product must be charged before it can be used again.

When cleaning the product, especially its input or output interfaces, ensure the device is turned off. Use a dry, soft, clean cloth or paper towel to wipe the surfaces. Avoid using unofficial components or accessories. If any components or accessories need replacement, contact Marxon support for assistance from official professionals.

During use, avoid forcibly locking the fan or placing the product in unventilated or dusty areas, as this can affect performance and potentially lead to overheating. The product should also be protected from impact, falls, or severe vibrations. In the event of a severe external impact, immediately turn off the power supply and cease using the product. If the product is overturned and severely damaged, turn it off, place it in an open area, keep it away from combustible materials and people, and dispose of it according to local laws and regulations.

Before each use, always check the product's integrity and that of its accessories. Do not use the product or accessories if they are damaged or broken. During thunderstorms or stormy weather, disconnect AC or solar charging to prevent electric shock, fire, or other accidents caused by lightning strikes. Finally, ensure the product is kept out of reach of children and pets.
