SAVING MESSAGES: press the key (14)
at length.
LISTENING TO RECORDED MESSAGES:
display the main menu page (MAIN key
(17), press the right-hand knob (22),
first select the "Record Voice" function
and then the "Hear" function.
ERASE RECORDED MESSAGES: display
the main page (MAIN key (17), press
the right-hand knob (22), first select
the "Record Voice" function and then
the "Delete" function.
Navigation (NAV)
ACTIVATION: insert the navigation CD-
ROM; with the CD-ROM inserted, press
the NAV key (20) briefly.
VIEW FIRST MENU PAGE: with the
navigation function page displayed,
press the right-hand knob (22).
VIEW OTHER MENU PAGES: select the
"Other menus" item available on each
page of the menu.
ENTER DESTINATION: on the first page
of the menu, select the "Address"
function.
LIST OF THE LAST 10 DESTINATIONS
ENTERED: on the first page of the
menu, select the "Last destinations"
function.
ENTER DESTINATIONS IN THE
DIRECTORY: on the first page of the
menu, select the "Directory" function
and assign a "Name" to the
destinations.
TEMPORARY STOP OF NAVIGATION:
on the first page of the menu, select
the "Stop NAV" function.
ERASING STORED DESTINATIONS:
select the "Delete destination"
function on the first page of the menu.
SEARCH FOR POINTS OF GENERAL
INTEREST: on the second page of the
menu, select the "Points of interest"
function.
TO RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT
PUBLIC UTILITIES: on the second page
of the menu, select the "RDS TMC"
function.
DESTINATION SELECTION DIRECTLY ON
THE GEOGRAPHICAL MAP: select the
"Atlas" on the second page of the
navigation menu and locate the
destination using the options “ ”
(shift horizontally), “ ” (shift
vertically) and "Scale" options.
REQUESTING A ROUTE OTHER THAN
THE ONE PROPOSED: select the
"Alternate route" function on the
second page of the menu.
SELECTING THE INFORMATION
DISPLAYED: select the "Change
display" function on the second page
of the menu.
GRAPHIC SETTING SELECTION: select
the "Map options" function on the
third page of the menu.
SHORTEST ROUTE SELECTION: first
select the "Route options" function on
the third page of the menu and then
the "Route type" function. Set the
"Shortest distance" option.
FASTEST ROUTE SELECTION: first select
the "Route options" function on the
third page of the menu and then the
"Route type" function. Set the
"Shortest time" option.
AVOIDING HIGHWAYS: first select the
"Route options" function on the third
page of the menu and then the
"Highway" function. Set the "NO"
option.
EXCLUSION OF VOICE INSTRUCTIONS
(MUTE NAV): press the NAV key (20).
