Dealer. This is the only type of oil recommended for use in this system.

Crankcase Oil
Lubricating oils are designated by SAE number and API abbreviation. The SAE number
indicates the thickness or viscosity of the oil. The ambient temperature of the area
governs the SAE number of the oil to be used. The API number indicates the type of
service to which the oil is suited.

Use Massey-Ferguson Spec. M-1109 motor oil in the appropriate SAE viscosity (lOW,
20W
or 30) or Massey-Ferguson Spec. M-1132 multi-viscosity (lOW /30) motor oil. An
equivalent MIL- L-2104B qualified product is also satisfactory.

WHEN THESE OILS ARE USED, CHECK OIL LEVEL MORE OFTEN.
Whenever the engine is operated under continuous heavy load conditions, where cold
starting is no problem (i.e.: Use of block heaters or warm buildings) the use of a
heavier grade motor oil is recommended.
