OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Batterycharging
The battery in your new tool is not fully charged! First, read the safety guidelines, and then
follow the instructions in the sections “Important charging notes” and “Charging the battery.”
Importantchargingnotes:
• Longestlifeandbestperformancecanbeobtainedifthebatteriesarechargedatnormal
room temperature.
• Whilecharging,thechargerwillnormallybecomewarm.
• Ifthebatteriesdonotchargeproperly,verifythecurrentattheoutletbyplugginginalampor
other tool.
• Thetoolshouldberechargedwhenitfailstoproducesufficientpoweronjobsthatwere
previously done easily. Do not continue to use the tool under these conditions. Repeat the
charging procedure.
• Unplugthechargerfromthepowersupplybeforedisconnectingitfromthetool.Unplugthe
charger before attempting to clean it.
• Batterylifedependsonusage,storagetemperatureandtime.
• Thechargerisintendedtobeusedinaverticalorfloor-mountedposition.
NOTE: Do not charge tool when temperature is below 5°C (41°F) or above 40°C (104°F).
Fuel gauge (g 1)
This screwdriver is equipped with a Fuel Gauge which is used to display the remaining capacity
of the battery. Press the Fuel Gauge button to display the LED lights.
