OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Before using the tool, read the instruction book carefully.
INTENDED USE
The power tool is intended for driving in and loosening screws.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery charger supplied is matched to the Li-ion battery installed in the machine. Do not use another battery
charger.
The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharging. When the battery is empty, the screwdriver will turn off.
In a warm environment or after heavy use, the battery pack may become too hot to permit charging. Allow time for
the battery to cool down before recharging.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR CHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery in your new screwdriver is not charged when it leaves the plant. Therefore it must be charged before
using for the first time.
NOTE: If the battery pack is hot, allow it to cool to ambient temperature before connecting to the charger.
To prevent damage to the battery pack, charge the battery to at least a half-charge before storing.
If the tool will not be used for long periods of time, charge the battery every 3-6 months.
CHARGING (See Fig. A)
To charge your screwdriver, follow the steps below. Plug charger plug into a suitable mains socket and plug the
output cord of the charger into the socket of the screwdriver. The charging indicator (2) will illuminate at this time.
After charging 3 to 5 hours, the battery will be fully
charged. When fully charged, the red light will switch off.
Unplug the charger plug from the wall socket and the
screwdriver is ready to use.
