Matcowarrantsitsairtoolsforaperiodof1yeartotheconsumer.Wewill
repair any MT Series airtoolcovered under this warranty which proves to
bedefectiveinmaterialorworkmanshipduringthewarrantyperiod.Inorder
tohaveyour toolrepaired, returnthetool toeitherof theMatcoAuthorized
WarrantyCenterslistedbelow,freightprepaid.Pleaseincludeacopyofyour
proof of purchase and a brief description of the problem. The tool will be
inspected and if any part or parts are found to be defective in material or
workmanship, the tool will be repaired free of charge and returned to you
freight prepaid.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspecificrights.Youmayalsohaveotherrightswhich
varyfromstatetostate.
The foregoing obligation is Matco’s sole liability under this or any implied
warrantyandundernocircumstancesshallMatcobeliableforanyincidental
or consequential damages.
Note: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidentalorconsequentialdamagessotheabovelimitationorexclusionmay
notapplytoyou.

Toolsofthisclassoperateonawiderangeofairpressures.Itisrecommended
thatairpressureofthesetoolsmeasures90PSIatthetoolwhilerunningfree.
Higherpressureanduncleanairwillshortentoollifebecauseoffasterwear
andmaycreateahazardouscondition.
Water in the air line will cause damage to the tool. Drain the air tank
daily. Clean the air inlet filter screen on at least a weekly schedule. The
recommendedhook-upprocedurecanbeviewedinFigure1.
Theairinlet(Figure2),usedforconnectingairsupply,hasstandard1/4"NPT
American Thread.
Line pressure should be increased to compensate for unusually
longairhoses(over25feet).Minimumhosediametershouldbe3/8"I.D.and
fittings should have the same inside dimensions.
TrouBleshooTing
Other factors outside the tool may cause loss of power or erratic action.
Reduced compressor output, excessive drain on the air line, moisture or
restrictions in air pipes or the use of hose connections of improper size
orpoor conditions may reduce air supply. Grit or gum deposits in the tool
maycutpowerandmaybecorrectedbycleaningtheairstrainerandflushing
outthetoolwithgumsolventoiloranequalmixtureofSAE#10andkerosene.
If outside conditions are in order and tool continues to perform erratically,
disconnecttoolfromhose andtaketooltoyournearestauthorized service
center.
luBricaTion
Lubricatetheairmotordailywithqualityairtooloil.Ifnoairlineoileris
used,runateaspoonofoilthroughthetool.Theoilcanbesquirtedintothe
toolairinletorintothehoseatthenearestconnectiontotheairsupply,then
runthetool.Theamountofoiltobeusedis1ounce.Overfillingwillcause
areductioninthepowerofthetool.Greasefittingonyokeoccasionallyto
ensure proper lubrication of the ratchet mechanism.
