• To add preferred networks, click on the Addition Network Configuration icon and a
pop-up appears as shown below:
• Configure the parameters for Preferred Network 1 (PN1), Preferred Network 2 (PN2)
and Preferred Network 3 (PN3) as per the requirement and save the configurations by
clicking on Save & Close button.
Configure the network with the highest priority in Preferred Network 1.
• If Public Networks, ISP1 and ISP2 are configured in PN1 and PN2 respectively.
• Now as the Admin Client and MS are located at two different networks, the
connection between them will be established via ISP1 (PN1) first.
• If due to some network issue, the connection is lost between Admin Client
and MS via ISP1 (PN1), then ISP fall-back will occur, allowing the Admin Client
to re-establish the connection via ISP2 (PN2).
• Now in case PN1, being at the higher priority comes up again, then the
connection will be switched over from the PN2 to PN1.
Example:
• If an organization has multiple branches. The main branch is located at the central
location, Gujarat while the other branch is located in Mumbai.
• Also, the MS and Admin Client1 has been installed in the same network at the Central
location (Gujarat), while Admin Client 2 has been installed at remote location
(Mumbai).
