xID Login & RFID
A user can use an xID to automatically identify themselves to the cardio machine, as well as track
workout data.
RFID tags can be used to automatically log a user into their xID, simply by waving their card, wristband,
or other RFID-enabled device over the RFID scanner.
See RFID Setup for information on disassociating an xID from a RFID device.
Users can view their xID data at this website: https://matrix.netpulse.com
To create a new xID:
Touch “Register” on the Login Screen. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter user information and
accept the terms and conditions. An RFID tag can also be associated with the xID by scanning it when
prompted. Touch the check mark – account is created and signed in.
To log in to an xID manually:
Touch “User Login” on the Login Screen. Type in xID and password in the appropriate fields. Account is
signed in.
To associate a new RFID device to a user’s xID:
Log in to the user xID account to be associated with the RFID
device. Scan the RFID device over the RFID scanner and touch
the green check box.

Energy Saver
Energy Saver mode allows the console to automatically ‘sleep’ when not in use for
an extended time, reducing energy consumption. When Energy Saver is active, the
console display will be dark and the Energy Saver LED will light, indicating it’s in
“Energy Saver” mode.
Touch & TouchXL consoles sense a user approaching the cardio equipment and resume normal function
automatically with the Console Proximity Sensor.
Energy Saver mode is disabled by default. See Energy Saver setup to configure.
Console setup
Console Setup must be completed whenever a new or refurbished console is installed on the frame,
swapped between frames, or when specific parts are replaced or serviced. Also, after Restore Factory
Defaults or Machine Selection, setting up the console ensures it’s properly configured for the site.
These instructions assume that all consoles will be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or ethernet.
