The S1 product stand is engineered for ease of use, featuring a design that clips securely onto the top of a laptop screen. Each screen of the S1 offers independent adjustment of various parameters, including brightness, sound, and contrast, allowing users to customize their visual and auditory experience. For laptops with a full-featured Type-C port that supports both signal and power supply, a single Type-C cable is sufficient to connect and power the display. For devices with an HDMI output interface, such as desktop hosts, laptops, mini PCs, set-top boxes, and game consoles, the S1 can be directly connected to display content. However, in such cases, the screen requires an external power supply to light up, which can be provided using a standard Type-C mobile phone charging cable. This flexibility in connection options ensures broad compatibility with a variety of devices.

A key feature of the S1 screen splitter is its ability to provide a complete 180-degree rotation on a single screen. This allows users to choose their optimal viewing angle, ensuring the best visual experience for any task or preference.

Usage Features:

The KEFEYA S1 is designed for straightforward installation and operation. To expand the monitor, users should follow the indicated direction to avoid damage. The frame can then be stretched open to accommodate the laptop. The kickstand can be adjusted to either a "TIGHT" or "LOOSE" setting to secure the screen in place. When closing the device, it's crucial to follow the specified sequence: fold the top buckle first. When folding the screen, users must ensure they pull out the bracket to the proper size, as shown in the instructions, to secure the screen within the silicone of the bracket. Forcing it closed without proper bracket adjustment can damage the screen.

The S1 features a multi-function button that serves as a menu, selection, and confirmation control. Pressing and holding this button for 2 seconds allows users to return to a previous menu, while holding it for 3 seconds will shut down the device. Additionally, there are dedicated toggle buttons for adjusting backlight (minus) and volume (plus), providing quick and easy control over essential display settings.

Connecting the S1 to a laptop can be done in two primary ways. If the laptop has a full-featured Type-C port, a single Type-C cable can connect the S1 directly to the laptop. If the display shows no signal or the signal is unstable, an external 5V/2A power adapter should be connected to power the laptop. For laptops with a USB-A port and an HDMI port, users should use the provided USB-A to USB-C cable and HDMI to Type-C cable to connect the S1.

The S1 can also be connected to mobile phones and other devices, such as gaming consoles like the Switch. For these connections, an external power supply is typically required to ensure stable operation.

For audio settings on Windows 10/11, users can right-click the Loudspeaker icon in the bottom-right corner, select "switch on sound" from the pop-up dialog box, and then click "turn on sound settings." This opens a box where users can adjust the master volume, select the S1 as the output device, and access device attributes. On MAC OS PCs, users can navigate to Apple menu > System Settings, click on "Sound," and then select "Output" to choose the S1 (DisplayPort) as the desired sound output device.

Display settings on Windows 10/11 are configured by right-clicking a blank area of the desktop and selecting "Display Settings." Here, users can rearrange their displays by dragging and dropping them according to their physical layout. Scrolling down allows for further configuration of the display for extended or mirrored mode. For MacOS 13 Ventura, users can enter "System Preferences," then "Displays," where they can set the resolution and choose between mirroring or extending the display. To rearrange displays, users can drag them to the desired position. To mirror displays, the Option key should be held while dragging them on top of each other. The menu bar can also be relocated by dragging it to a different display.

Maintenance Features:

To ensure the safe and proper use of the KEFEYA S1 and prevent potential accidents such as electric shock or fire, several guidelines must be followed. Before initial use, the protective film should be removed from the screen surface.

The product requires a DC power supply through an AC/DC power adapter. It is essential to ensure that the adapter is placed away from heat sources in a well-ventilated location. The AC power socket and AC power line must be adequately grounded to handle the current demands. The DC power input required for this product is 5V-20V ± 2V.

Users should take precautions to prevent excessive humidity and dust accumulation, as these conditions can lead to circuit corrosion and device malfunction. The screen surface should be protected from external forces or impacts, and sharp tools that could damage the screen surface should not be used.

The KEFEYA S1 is suitable for general business and domestic use, and it is recommended to operate it within an ambient temperature range of -20°C to 60°C. When the device is not in use, it is important to power it off by disconnecting the power source.
