7. Verify the
both
Safety Lock Release Cam handles are down in the
engage
position. Refer to the
figure below.

8. Press and hold the Up Button on the Power Unit to raise the Lift until
just before
the Adapters
make contact with the Lifting Points, then release the Up Button.
9. Check the Arm Restraint Gears
on all four Lift Arms
to make sure they are engaged and that
the Lift Pads will make solid contact with the Lifting Points when raised further.
a. To
disengage
the Arm Restraint Gear and unlock the Lift Arm, use the Ring to lift up on the
Shaft. Refer to the figure on the next page.
b. To
engage
the Arm Restraint Gear and lock the Lift Arm, push down on the Shaft while
rocking the Lift Arm slightly. Refer to the figure on the next page.
