Remove the back panel (See page 4-28).
Remove the large belt by rolling it off the
basket pulley.
On MFR25, remove the small belt the same
way.
NOTE: MFR18 models do not have an
idler.

REMOVE MOTOR - MFR18 & 25
On MFR25, springs come off the idler and
tensioner easily after the belts are removed.
Disconnect the motor wire harness plug.
Remove the 1/2” bolt that secures the motor
to the motor bracket.
NOTE: This bolt also allows the tension to
be changed for the small belt.
Move the motor to release the rod from the
mount.
Remove the motor from the washer.
Make sure the insulator is reinstalled
between the motor and bracket.
