2. Steering
post position.
Fabricate
and
install
a
spacer
be-
tween the
dash
panel
and steer-
ing
post
mounting
bracket
as
shown
in
the illustration.
B. Front
suspension.
1. Enlarge
inside
diameter of thrust
bearing.
To accept the
larger
diameter
of
the competition
shock absorber,
the inside
diameter of the thrust
bearing
must
be enlarged from
20
to 22mm
as shown in the illustra-
tion.
2. Mounting
strut
assembly.
When mounting
the competition
strut
assembly,
the
position
of
the mark
should
be towards
the
outside rear
as shown in
the illus-
tration.
Removal of
bump
stop brackets
on the lower
control
arm.
Since
the
knuckle
arm contacts
the
bump
stop bracket,
10 mm
must
be cut off the
upper
side, as
shown in
the
illustration.
3.
This
part
must
be cut olf
4.
Installation of
anti-roll
bar.
The anti-roll bar
should
be mount-
ed with the holes
downward,
as
shown.
There are
four
positions,
but hole
#2
is
the
standard
set-
ting
and should
be the
starting
point
for
chassis
adjustment
be-
fore
trying
any of the others.
