Connection
Before connection, disconnect the mixer and all other appliances
which are to be connected to the mixer from the mains voltage (pull
the plug-in power unit out of the socket).
For connecting the cinch in and outputs, use only shielded cinch
cables suitable for this purpose. The use of wrong cables may cau-
se interference.
The inputs and outputs should never be connected directly to a
mains supply.
To avoid distortion or mismatching that may damage the appliance,
only reproduction appliances with a cinch output may be connec-
ted to the cinch inputs of the mixer.
When carrying this out pay attention to the connection values listed
in “Technical Data” section.
Mono inputs and Insert connections
MIC-input (1)
Either condensor or dynamic microphones can be connected to the the XLR input. If
a condensor microphone is being used the phantom power needed can be switched
on from the +24V PHANTOM switch (46) . The input level ranges from -60 to -20dB.
The input is suitable for symmetrical and asymmetrical microphones.
Mono LINE input (2)
A playback source e.g. keyboard, synthesizer, etc with a LINE level can be connec-
ted to the symmetrical 6,3mm jack socket input.
The input level ranges of the input are -40 to -20dB.
Please note that only one kind of signal can be connected per mono
channel. Either the LINE input or the MICRO input. Both inputs cannot
be connected simultaneously.
