Read instructions, be familiar with controls and proper use.
Inspect area, remove objects, wear proper attire.
Work in daylight, be sure of footing, walk, not run.
Keep nuts/bolts tight, store safely, cool engine.
Insert handle lock, position handle assembly, secure with bolts.
Insert shift rod into lever indicator and secure with clip.
Reduce tire pressure to 20 PSI for proper operation.
Ensure engine oil is at the correct level before operation.
Use fresh, clean regular unleaded automotive gasoline.
Reconnect spark plug, set controls, pull starter rope.
Move throttle to desired speed; tines engage with drive control.
Release drive control, set throttle to slow, select 'R' position.
Release drive control to stop tines; set shift lever to 'N' to stop engine.
Release drive control, set throttle to slow, select 'F' position.
Release depth stake, select tilling position, engage drive control.
Destroy weeds between rows for plant nourishment.
Refer to manual for engine servicing and upkeep.
Lubricate right hand gear case grease fitting once a season.
Keep tiller and wheels clean; protect painted surfaces with wax.
