To activate REMOTE:
1) Unscrew and open the lower panel [20].
2) Remove the bridge from terminals REMOTE and COMMON [12].
3) Bring an external no-load and normally open (NO) contact to REMOTE and COMMON
terminals [12] from an external device (example: contact from ∆P monitor).
4) Replace the lower panel fixing the screws [20].
5) Close the contacts on the REMOTE and COMMON terminals [12] in order to enable the
REMOTE function.
6) Should you open the contact on REMOTE and COMMON terminals [12], MPS will stop
working. Close the contact in order to start cleaning cycle again from the position it stopped.
11. DELTA-P / VALVES SELECT BUTTON
Letter P followed by 3 numbers appear on the display [10] when MPS shows ∆P value in the filter.
Press button DELTA-P/VALVES [9] to read the number of the valve that is going to be pulsed and vice
versa. The MPS indicates the letter E followed by the number of the valve that is ready to be pulsed.
Each time MPS is switched on, display [10] automatically shows the ∆P value in the filter.
(Example: If delta-p value is 0,2 KPa, you will read P0.20).
12. HOUR COUNTER
The HOUR COUNTER counts the number of hours that the MPS has been working. Counting starts
each time ∆P of the filter exceeds 0,10 kPa.
How to read the HOUR COUNTER on display [10]:
1) Press SELECT MENU [7] until display [10] shows L followed by the last 3 numbers (from 0 to 999)
out of the 5 indicating total balance of MPS working hours.
Ex.: if MPS has been working for 12,270 hours, display will show L270.
2) Press SELECT MENU [7] until display [10] shows H followed by the first 2 numbers (from 0 to 65)
indicating the total number of hours that the MPS has been working.
Ex.: if MPS has been working for 12,270 hours, display will show H12.
13. ZERO SETTING
A FUNCTION WHICH ONLY NEEDS TO BE PERFORMED IF AND ONLY WHEN THE DISPAY
[10] DOES NOT SHOW ZERO AFTER THE FILTERED TAPS HAVE BEEN FIXED CORRECTLY
TO THE FILTER, AS INDICATED IN PARAGRAPH 6.2.
Make sure the fan is switched off!
1) Unscrew the 2 screws [18] and open the MPS transparent cover.
2) Unscrew the 4 screws of the green panel and lift it without removing it!
3) Unscrew the two screws of the 4-20mA assembled board (page 11) and remove it.
