3. THE VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF THE

• Systolic, diastolic blood-pressure and pulse rate appear in the display.
E) Data analysis
CHECK3 technology is based on processing 3 valid subsequent measurements, i.e.
3 measurements that can be comparable. Possible wrong measurements will be
deleted and reprocessed again. MEDEL CHECK automatically processes 3 mea-
surements of blood pressure and heart rate. After each measurement the device
stops for 15 seconds to allow physiologic restoration of blood flow. During this
break the countdown shows on the display advising start of a new measurement
with 5 sec. notice. When 3 measurements have been completed, MEDEL CHECK
processes the data and the values of systolic and diastolic pressure are shown
along with heart rate. Measurement with CHECK3 technology takes less than 3
minutes.
