  If a “bAtt” symbol appears on the Medela Breast Pump display, it indicates that the pump is in initial charge mode or the battery was removed and reinserted. Plug in and charge for 24 hours uninterrupted. If you see a flashing battery symbol outline with 1 bar, the battery is low, so plug it in to charge. If the battery indicator flashes with 4 bars, disconnect the power cord and remove the battery for at least 10 seconds, then reinsert the battery and plug it in to charge for 24 hours.

  If your Medela breast pump becomes wet, unplug the mains adapter from the socket and switch off the pump. Ensure you do not place the pump upside down, keeping the control panel upwards. Store the pump in a dry, warm place for 24 hours. Avoid exposing the pump to direct sunlight and do not use heat to accelerate the drying process.

Avoid removing the battery, as this resets the battery indicator and requires up to 24 hours of recharging.
