Connect coaxial cable from wall to Cable IN, HDMI cable to HDTV input, and power cord to outlet.
Power on TV and DVR, tune TV input, call to activate, and wait for guide download.
Turn off TV and old box, disconnect power cord, and unscrew coaxial cables.
