Procedure for flushing SSG unit prior to servicing
Before performing repairs on a SSG unit, the following procedure must be performed to flush Part A and B of the
RAPICIDE
®
PA solution from the unit. The flushing of the unit minimizes exposure to the disinfectant during repair or
preventative maintenance.
Tools Required
 1/2 gallon or larger container for holding water. The vessel should be able to fit in the chemical drawer once the part
A and B bottles are removed. Two empty part A and B bottles can be used. If using empty bottles, rinse thoroughly
and remove the labels from the bottle to prevent confusion with actual disinfectant.
