SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Store the instructions near the chainsaw.
Follow the safety instructions to avoid
accidents, which can lead to serious
personal injury or death.
Follow the safety instructions to avoid
damaging the product.
Familiarise yourself with the controls on
the saw so that you can use it safely.
Always follow all the local safety
regulations when using the chainsaw.
Mistakes when handling the saw can lead
to serious personal injury.
Even when correctly used there are risks
when using the saw. The following risks
are associated with this type of saw:
Contact with the unprotected saw
chain.
Unexpected sudden movement of
the bar.
Hearing impairment if ear protection
is not used.
Inhalation of dangerous particles or
exhaust from the engine.
Skin contact with petrol.
NOISE
In normal conditions chainsaw users can be
exposed to noise levels of 80 dB(A) or more.
It is not possible to avoid exposure to
some noise from the chainsaw.
Noisy work should be limited to specic
periods.
Rest at regular intervals and if necessary
reduce working hours to a minimum.
The user must have ear protection, which
also others in the vicinity can need to use.
WARNING!
Risk of hearing impairment. Wear ear
protection.
VIBRATION
The actual vibration value when using the
saw can deviate from the specied value
in the instructions. This can be a result of
the following factors:
Whether the saw is used in the correct
manner.
If the sawing is done correctly and in
suitable material.
If the saw is used in accordance with
the instructions.
If the chain is suciently sharp.
If the handles are correctly tted.
If you experience discomfort, or notice
that your skin becomes discoloured after
using the saw, stop using it.
Rest at regular intervals.
WARNING!
Failure to take suciently long and frequent
breaks can result in vibration injuries.
SAFE USE
Always be very careful when handling
fuel. Always wipe up spillage, and move
the chainsaw at least three metres away
from the fuelling point before starting it.
There must be no sources of heat (i.e. no
smoking, naked ames or tools that can
emit sparks) near the place where fuel is
mixed, replenished, or stored.
Smoking is absolutely prohibited when
handling fuel and when using the
chainsaw.
